Sara Hall Racing USATF 25 km ChampionshipsPublished by
USATF 25 km Championships Return to Grand RapidsBy Adam Kopet Sara Hall is on the start list Saturday for the USATF 25 km Championships in Grand Rapids, Mich. If Hall races, It would come six days after she finished as runner-up at the USATF Half Marathon Championships in Pittsburgh and less than four weeks following her 15th-place finish at the Boston Marathon. Assuming she runs, Hall's performance Saturday, however, will be dependent on how well she recovers. She has run well following short rest between races before. Hall won the 2017 USATF Marathon Championships five weeks after setting a then personal best at the Frankfurt Marathon. Other top women in the race include Kelsey Bruce, who stands ninth on the U.S. all-conditions marathon list this year, and Maddie Van Beek, who ran 16:15.31 to win the 5,000 meters at the Drake Relays last month. The men's race is led by Scott Smith and Parker Stinson. Smith is joined by his HOKA ONE ONE Northern Arizona Elite teammates Kiya Dandena and Nicholas Hilton. Tyler McCandless is the top returning runner in the men's race. He finished fourth last year. More news |
